I'm trying to get ready to run in a 5K Fun Run with our church in a few weeks. I've been at this for about 12 weeks now and I'm glad to report that my body is getting stronger, more ready and more 'used to' being out of breath and having my heart pounding a lot more beats per minute that I'm used to or 'comfortable' with.
I'm relearning that progress in life, business, love, launching greater things and athletics all requires time in the 'uncomfortable zone' to condition our hearts, minds, bodies and spirits to accomplish the dream within. I'm learning to step in the discomfort of breathing harder and having a higher heart rate than I'm used to. That's where gains are made.
Your gains are out 'there' in the 'zone of the uncomfortable' or the 'stretch zone' .
What dream are you pursuing that's worth getting a little uncomfortable for?
