Is a great leader born or does she/he develop leadership traits over time through experience? Leadership trait theory suggests that it's in the leader's genetic inheritance and either you're born to lead or you're not.
"Leadership Trait Theory" suggests that one person may have the 'leadership gene-set' while another person may not.
Although I do believe that some people are 'natural born leaders I also believe that anyone can learn to be a relatively good leader with the right mentoring, coaching, and training.
If you truly believe 100% in Trait Theory then you believe that either the person has the capability to lead bred into them or that they don't.
